Women Reservation Bill: Any delay in implementing quota will be a gross injustice to Indian women, says Sonia Gandhi

Congress leader Sonia Gandhi expressed her party’s strong support for the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam 2023. Additionally, she called for the immediate implementation of the women’s reservation bill, emphasizing the need for a sub-quota for Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Other Backward Classes (OBCs). Sonia Gandhi stressed that the timely implementation of the women’s reservation bill was not only essential but also feasible. She warned that any delay in its execution would constitute a grave injustice to Indian women, underscoring the urgency of this matter in the Lok Sabha.
